Peace of Heart

He has many faces, a kaleidoscope of emotions. One looks to the woman he wants to protect, the other looks out in vigil, hand held out showing the stigma of terrorism on his palm. September 11 forever imprinted him with mistrust. She holds her pregnant abdomen ambivalent about the child she's about to bring to the world.
